Scope

The Fernando Fueyo Laneri Chilean Journal of Private Law (RCHDP) is a peer-reviewed, referred biannual academic publication produced by the Fernando Fueyo Laneri Foundation, in conjunction with Diego Portales University Law School in the months of July and December of each year. Created in 2003 by its first director, Mr. Carlos Pizarro Wilson, the Journal seeks to contribute to the study of private law and to foster critical debate. The publication is presently led by Professor Claudia Bahamondes Oyarzún. The Journal focuses on private law issues from a broad perspective, facilitating the publication in Chile of domestic and foreign academic papers that are not necessarily tied to domestic legislation. The Journal endeavors to serve as a valuable tool for the Chilean legal community by providing a window on the latest national, regional and international trends on such topics as the institutions, principles, standards and rules in this field of law. The Journal's broad perspective also allows for the publication of topics from related disciplines to the extent that they complement the Journal's core purpose.
