Scope

The journal Studia Aurea focuses on studying the history of Spanish literature from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries and the critical thinking from this same period. It is also open to comparative approaches which consider Iberian and European literature as a whole, to studies of neo-Latin philology and literary translation, to all modern philologies and to the history of the book and reading in the early modern period. The journal aspires to merge the interests of all the disciplines that converge in research into the cultural and literary output of this broad period in Spanish letters, encompassing Humanism, the Renaissance and the Golden Age.
