Scope

Physical Education Theory and Methodology [Teorìâ ta Metodika Fìzičnogo Vihovannâ] is an international research-and-methodology journal established in 2000. It publishes research papers on physical education of children, teenagers and student youth, physical rehabilitation and sports training. The purpose of the journal is to inform about and introduce the results of applied and fundamental research in physical education and sports. The Editorial Board primarily considers submissions focusing on physical education or sports training, or physical rehabilitation; containing a simulated experimental situation, clearly defined independent variables (factors controlled in the experiment are indicators that characterize the process of physical education or sports training, or physical rehabilitation), as well as dependent variables that characterize the effectiveness of the experimental training program; medicobiological, psychophysiological, and psychological indicators used in the study provide additional information to explain the effectiveness of the experimental training program. Quartiles

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
