In today's increasingly global and interconnected world, more people live in urban areas than rural areas. By 2030, there will be over 40 mega-cities with over 10 million inhabitants each. Needs for greater mobility yet concerns for the environment engender new challenges and demands on transport systems and metropolitan spaces. On the other hand, the ubiquitous availability of data on a mega-scale opens up opportunities for new directions and paradigms for the design, planning and operations of urban and regional transport systems. New analytics models, theory and algorithms are called for to meet the challenges for sustainable transport for cities and communities of the future.
Practitioners and academics are cordially invited to share their knowledge, experience and insights on the design, analytics, investigations, analysis, planning, operation, engineering, co-ordination and management of transport systems and their impacts. SJR
The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from
