Scope

In the journal scientific articles are published the original data and systematic reviews on contemporary issues in radiation medicine and radiobiology. Content of publications covers the topics of research results in the field of health in people who survived after the Chornobyl NPP accident or other nuclear accidents, have or have had a contact with ionizing radiation sources in professional activity or withinmedical procedures, assessment of health and demographic consequences of radiation and nuclear accidents, dosimetry of internal radiation exposure in population of contaminated territories and other groups of survivors, medical and biophysical control of health and professional suitability of the «Shelter» unit staff, retrospective dosimetry in the framework of epidemiological studies, study of pathways of the direct and remote effects of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation impact on numans and animals, remote consequences of irradiation, application of prophylactic arrangements focused on population health protection.. SJR

The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.
