Scope

The journal is a professional medical periodical journal focused on the issues of occupational medicine, occupational diseases, hygiene at work, providing healthcare to employees (company preventive care) and on the issues of other related fields and branches (e.g. orthopaedics, neurology, othorhinolaryngology, dermatology, physiology of work, psychology of work, health issues while travelling abroad, hyperbaric medicine, aviation medicine and others). The professional guarantor is the Society of Occupational Medicine of the Czech Medical Association of J. E. Purkyně. The Pracovní lékařství journal publishes original papers, comprehensive notifications, recommended diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, criteria used in the assessment of occupational damages to health, legislative information, case studies, reports from professional conferences and meetings and discussions on topics current in occupational medicine. The journal is an important source of professional information for physicians who are engaged in occupational medicine and for all physicians in any field of medicine who take part in providing any healthcare for workers.
