Scope

The Archaeology of the Eurasian Steppes (Arkheologiia Evraziiskikh Stepei) is an international peer-reviewed scientific journal. Purpose, goals and topic coverage of the publication: the publication is dedicated to the main issues of the archaeology of steppe Eurasia and the associated historical and natural scientific disciplines, and features a series of attached monographic works. The journal is a unique platform for the entire Eurasian space in the field of Archaeology and interdisciplinary studies possessing a significant potential for expanding international cooperation and increasing the recognition of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the founders of the journal, its fields of concern will be as follows: issues of the origin, development and mutual influence of the nomadic and settled archaeological cultures of Eurasia; publication of the key monuments of various periods and cultures; systematic studies of material items; compilation of archaeological source collections and maps; reconstruction of the environmental support systems of ancient and medieval societies. archaeological study of the spiritual culture; study of art monuments, including the ones located in the natural landscape; study of numismatic and epigraphical monuments; coverage of the issues of the establishment of sedentary settlements and towns, and the history of architecture; issues of the preservation and use of Eurasian archaeological heritage; Join the conversation about this journal
Quartiles

The set of journals have been ranked according to their SJR and divided into four equal groups, four quartiles. Q1 (green) comprises the quarter of the journals with the highest values, Q2 (yellow) the second highest values, Q3 (orange) the third highest values and Q4 (red) the lowest values.
