Scope

Materials Today Nano is a multidisciplinary journal welcoming submissions spanning nanoscience and nanotechnology. From the design and assembly of nanostructured materials, functionalization and properties to the imaging of nanomaterials, the journal aims to capture the latest advances and breakthroughs in nanoscience. The journal seeks to serve as platform for discussions around newest concepts in nanoscience and the development of existing techniques to be applied beyond their traditional applications. Part of the Materials Today family, Materials Today Nano offers authors rigorous peer review, rapid decisions, and high visibility. The editors welcome comprehensive articles, short communications and reviews on topics including but not limited to: Nanoscale synthesis and assembly Nanoscale characterization Nanoscale fabrication Nanoelectronics and molecular electronics Nanomedicine Nanomechanics Nanosensors Nanophotonics Nanocomposites. The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'. SJR is a measure of scientific influence of journals that accounts for both the number of citations received by a journal and the importance or prestige of the journals where such citations come from It measures the scientific influence of the average article in a journal, it expresses how central to the global scientific discussion an average article of the journal is.

Citations per document

This indicator counts the number of citations received by documents from a journal and divides them by the total number of documents published in that journal. The two years line is equivalent to journal impact factor ™ (Thomson Reuters) metric.
