Scope

Journal of the Ministry of Labour, Migrations and Social Security is published on a bimonthly basis and its objective is to publicise original and hitherto unpublished work, concerning subjects inherent to the functions allocated to the Department. It began to be released in May 1997 and, since then, it has had several different names: Revista del Ministerio de Trabajo y Asuntos Sociales (Journal of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs), Revista del Ministerio de Trabajo e Inmigración (Journal of the Ministry of Labour and Immigration), and Revista del Ministerio de Empleo y Seguridad Social (Journal of the Ministry of Employment and Social Security), invariably in keeping with the changes that have been made to the name of the Ministry. The Journal publishes ordinary issues, in which the five thematic series that constitute the publication alternate, plus other extraordinary series devoted, among other subjects, to Labour Reform; Social Security Budgets; Work-Family Balance, Voluntary, Gradual and Flexible Retirement; or concerning the latest Spanish Presidency of the European Union Council (January-June 2010). The content of the Social Security Seminars held in recent years is also being included. Join the conversation about this journal
