Scope

Cessation. Every issue of Evidence-Based Ophthalmology includes analyses of approximately two dozen critically relevant articles in the categories of clinical studies or trials, medical socioeconomics, and politics as it relates to healthcare. The journal will supply an evidence-based (as opposed to an anecdotal) approach to eye care. Rather than undertaking a given treatment because "that's how we treat this condition," Evidence-Based Ophthalmology provides the most time-effective, cost-efficient methods of treatment to busy clinicians. The SJR is a size-independent prestige indicator that ranks journals by their 'average prestige per article'. It is based on the idea that 'all citations are not created equal'.
